Here we present an alternative PCR-based method of HLA-DP typing that involves analysis of electrophoretically separated restriction fragments, or amplified fragment length polymorphisms (AFLPs), produced by digestion of PCR-amplified DPB exons 2 sequences at allele-specific restriction sites.
