Isolierung und nähere Charakterisierung eines neuen Haptoglobins: Hp-Marburg

Abstract

Eine erbliche Haptoglobin-Variante (HpMb) wurde aus dem Serum eines der Merkmalstrager isoliert. Das immunoelektrophoretisch reine Hp zeigte wie das Serum ein atypisches Starkegelbild. Bei immunologischer Untersuchung der Hp-Hb-Komplexe zeigte HpMb nur eine Teilidentitat mit normalen Hp der Gruppen Hp 1–1, Hp 2–1 und Hp 2–2. Die besonderen Antigeneigenschaften waren in samtlichen Starkegelbanden nachweisbar. Das Auftreten einer besonderen Antigendeterminante des HpMb-Hb-Komplexes hangt wahrscheinlich mit einer Atypie der Hb-Bindungsfahigkeit des HpMb zusammen.
