Abstract

1. Durch eine gesteuerte Metamorphoseauslosung ist es gelungen, den Ablauf der Gestaltveranderungen beiActinotrocha branchiata, der Larve vonPhoronis mulleri, in allen Phasen dokumentarisch festzuhalten. 2. Der Ablauf der Metamorphose, die sich sehr rasch vollzieht, wird in 6 Phasen eingeteilt. Die einzelnen Differenzierungsvorgange bis zur Entstehung des sessilen Lebensstadiums werden beschrieben und photographisch belegt.
