It is shown that coefficients of friction and diffusion of the magnetized kinetic equation are not expressible in terms of the usual velocity derivatives of two scalar potentials. For a two-component magnetized plasma these coefficients are expressible in terms of the operator and two magnetic scalar potentialshB andgB. For reduces to the usual velocity derivatives and the potentialshB andgB have the form of generalized Rosenbluth potentials.
