Abstract

Eine obere Schranke fur die Dampfung der kleinen Schwingungen eines Pendels wird fur den Fall erhalten, dass die Dampfung durch eine zahe, in einem am Pendel angebrachten Gefass enthaltene Flussigkeit verursacht wird. Diese Schranke gilt fur ein beliebiges Flussigkeitsvolumen, vorausgesetzt, dass dessen Tragheitsmoment bezuglich desjenigen des Pendels klein ist.
