Abstract

Cysten, Gameten, Zygoten und Sekundarkerne enthaltende Zellen vonAcetabularia mediterranea wurden mit der Feulgen-Reaktion angefarbt und der relative DNA-Gehalt der Zellkerne cytophotometrisch bestimmt. Die vorgelegten Befunde zeigen, das die Meiose entweder vor, wahrend oder unmittelbar nach dem Zerfall des Primarkernes erfolgt. Das bedeutet, das sowohl die Sekundarkerne als auch die „weise Fleck“-Kerne als auch die Kerne der Cysten haploid sind.
