1. The fulfillment of the aforementioned measures on design and manufacture for the purpose of markedly increasing the plant readiness of hydraulic cylinders will markedly reduce the volume of installation and startup and adjustment works at the hydraulic structure. 2. For performing works on the installation, testing, adjustment, and startup of hydraulic cylinders at hydraulic structures under construction it is deemed expedient to create at Gidromontazh a specialized group and a training mock-up device for training workers of this group. This will make it possible to shorten the time of performing the indicated works and to perform them at the due technical level with complete observance of the entire technological process, which in turn will lead to an increase in the operating reliability of the hydraulic drives. 3. The development of a set of devices needed for operating the hydraulic drives will make it possible to increase their operating reliability and to improve the working conditions of the personnel. 4. The complex of work carried out on unification of hydraulic drives and the planned further works on unification and the developed new types of short-stroke hydraulic drives having high parameters are making it possible to solve the problem of creating economical layouts of modern hydraulic structures. 5. The manufacture of the stepping hydraulic drive with a short-stroke cylinder as a single “whole” mechanism permits obtaining a universal mechanism both for operating the gates and for various installation purposes.
