Abstract

A mental health facility and a federation of settlement houses collaborated in the development of a mental health project. The collaboration went through various phases in moving from the early discussions and concepts to the point at which a final, mutually endorsed plan was reached. This article focuses on the process of collaboration and the factors that contributed to its effectiveness.
