Abstract

Das Absorptionsspektrum des Dy+++-Ions zwischen 18 000 cm−1 und 27 000 cm−1 im Dysprosiumathylsulfat, Dysprosiumchlorid und Dysprosiumnitrat und der Zeeman-Effekt im Athylsulfat und Chlorid werden bei 4,2 °K und bei 58 °K untersucht. Bei der Auswertung des Zeeman-Effekts ist die Differenz zwischen auserem und lokalem Magnetfeld zu berucksichtigen. Hierzu wird das lokale Magnetfeld fur die Athylsulfate der Seltenen Erden berechnet. Fur drei der gefundenen Absorptions-gruppen werden auf Grund der experimentell ermitteltenJ-Werte undg-Faktoren Deutungsvorschlage angegeben. Aus der Aufspaltung des Grundterms werden die magnetische Suszeptibilitat und die magnetische spezifische Warme bei tiefen Temperaturen berechnet. Die berechneten Daten stehen dabei in guter Ubereinstimmung mit direkten Messungen.
