Etude comparative de 3 types de betons refractaires a base de melange quartz-argile (plus l'un ou plusieurs de ces composes: quartzite, lignosulfonate, verre soluble, scorie ferrochrome, briques chrome-magnesite broyees) utilises comme garnissage monolitique de poches de coulee pour acier. Composition, proprietes mecaniques et refractaires ainsi que resultats des essais industriels. Le melange presentant les meilleurs caracteristiques technologiques est actuellement utilise pour le garnissage ou la reparation des poches de coulee (complexe metallurgique Dniepr) son emploi permet de reduire la consommation de refractaires (1 kg par tonne d'acier)
