The principal characteristics and parameters were determined for the production of ceramics from yttrium oxide by hot pressure-casting. The products sinter to a relative density of 97–99.5%. High-sintered yttrium oxide ceramic produced by hot pressure-casting remains stable during long-term (500 h) exposure to a high temperature (1600°C).
