Abstract

1. 3–5fache Crossing-over bzw. Chiasmen treten in den X-Chromosomen verschiedenerDrosophila-Arten in Haufigkeiten auf, die der theoretischen Erwartung auserordentlich genau entsprechen. Fur die V-formigen Chromosomen vonD. melanogaster ist die Ubereinstimmung erwartungsgemas etwas geringer, aber sehr gut. Klassifikationsfehler, Fehlmanifestationen von Genen, Mutationen usw. sind also von vernachlassigbarem Einflus. 2. Die Erhohung der Haufigkeiten der 3- und mehrfachen Chiasmen infolge Vorbehandlung der ♀ mit hohen Temperaturen entspricht gleichfalls der Erwartung, ist also nicht vorgetauscht. 3. Fur die X-Chromosomen verschiedenerD.-Arten stehen die Haufigkeiten aller verwertbaren mehrfachen Chiasmen (C13<1) mit „einseitiger“ Interferenzwirkung im Einklang. Dies spricht gegen ein gleichzeitiges Entstehen aller Chiasmen einer Tetrade und mit groserer Wahrscheinlichkeit furals gegen ein zeitliches Hintereinander-Anlegen der Chiasmen in bestimmter Richtung. (Hierbei verdient aus anderen Grunden die Richtung SFA→ freies Ende den Vorzug.) 4. Die Haufigkeiten der entsprechenden mehrfachen Chiasmen in den zweischenkligen Chromosomen sind sehr gering und durch sekundare Faktoren beeintrachtigt. Sie sprechen, falls man sie zu einem Entscheid der sub 3 aufgeworfenen Frage heranzieht, mehr fur als gegen das dort erhaltene Ergebnis.
