Abstract

1. Observations on the resistance of ICHV to storage are reported. 2. Susceptibility of 3 human cell strains to the virus has been appreciated by microscopical examinations and by virus titrations. 3. It is suggested that ICHV can induce antibodies in man, without any evident clinical disease. One case of clinical hepatitis revealed ICHV neutralizing antibodies at a low titer.
