Abstract

The fairly high accuracy in approximating by Eqs. (2)-(4) the experimental data obtained from studying the heat transfer process in a disk crystallizer for the crystallization of solutions of salts having different physicochemical properties enables these equations to be recommended for calculating the average value of the heat transfer coefficient and, consequently, the heat transfer surface of an industrial disk crystallizer,
