The Beilstein-Institut has published since 1881 more than 300 volumes of the Beilstein Handbook of Organic Chemistry, containing the most important structural, physical and chemical data of the organic compounds. In the near future this material will be also available worldwide via online services. The Beilstein-Online will contain the most important structural information, including stereochemistry as well, and ca. 400 different physical and chemical features. The majority of these features will be searchable.
