The TGA syndrome has been described in the presence of insufficiency of the ce=ebra! circulation [8, i0, 13, 15], as well as in cases of acute somatic pathology: bradyarrhythmias caused by digitalis preparations and by disturbances of atrioventricular conductivity, and cardiac arrest [9, !I]. A connection has been noted between TGA and migraine [6, 12, 13, 17]. There have been observations of shortlived global mnestic disturbance during emotional stress in persons without a clinically expressed neurological deficit [4, 12], and there are indications that the syndrome ~ay develop in epilepsy.
