The critical stress intensity factor of Fe40Ni40B20, Ni80Si10B10 and Ni80Si5B15 metallic glass ribbons was measured at temperatures 4.2 to 300 K. The low-temperature embrittlement for Ni-Si-13 glasses was not investigated. The low-temperature embrittlement of Fe40Ni40B20 glass depends on the structural relaxation and is connected with a change from vein pattern fracture surface morphology through chevron morphology up to cleavage.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 7 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
