Abstract

An electrolytic cell design is proposed for copper powder production by cathodic reduction of cupric oxide in N NaOH solution. The reduction, washing out the electrolyte, and drying stages are carried out in a single apparatus, which enables a powder having a low oxide content to be obtained without recourse to stabilizers.
