Der Illit von Fehring

Abstract

In der dazischen Tuffitserie sudlich von Fehring finden sich mehrfach feinere, weitgehend zersetzte Einlagerungen, mit Machtigkeiten bis uber 10 m und in erheblicher Ausdehnung. Optische, elektronenoptische und rontgenographische Untersuchungen, chemische Zusammensetzung und Verhalten bei der DTA zeigen, das es sich um ein Mineral aus der Illitgruppe handelt. Die Entstehung vom Muskowit her kann in einzelnen Stufen direkt beobachtet werden, die Ableitung auch von Feldspaten oder Gesteinsglasern ohne direkte Ausbildung einer Glimmerphase ware denkbar (Illitisierung).
