These experiments were performed in a laboratory pressure filter with a constant pressure of 5.104 N.m -=. The standard precoat with the filter aid was 1 kg/m 2 of filter surface, and the filter aid was also metered into the slurry being filtered at a rate of 1% of the slurry weight. The filter plate was a twill-weave metal screen (Ff = 20 cm=). The filtrate quality was evaluated on the basis of the "degree of cleanliness" as determined by the GOST 12275--66 method.
