The problem of the flexure of an inhomogeneous plate with a hole may be reduced, by the small-parameter method, to the solution of a series of problems for a homogeneous plate with a hole. These problems are solved using classical complex-potential methods. For an infinite plate with a circular hole, the results of numerical calculations are given; from these results, it follows that inhomogeneity of the material has a considerable influence on the stress.
