
Summary: In Part I of the survey [Cybernetics 22, 290-297 (1986); translation from Kibernetika 1986, No.3, 27-33 (1986; Zbl 0641.68137)] we highlighted the main stages in the development of methods of automatic theorem proving, identified a number of directions that merit special attention, and characterized two of these directions, namely: translation of proofs from one system to another, and organization of an interactive deduction mode and the use of a natural language. In Part II we consider the remaining directions.
