This paper describes the use of the general-purpose finite-element code ABAQUS to temperature analysis of concrete structures exposed to fire. Various structural members are studied, such as rectangular beams, slabs with circular enclosures, and steel-concrete composite slabs. The thermal analysis allows us to establish the temperature distribution in the structural members throughout the fire history. Influences of phase changes and other nonlinearities are taken into account. The results are compared with results from the computer codes TASEF and SUPER-TASEF.
