The problem of turbulent flow in a straight circular pipe is solved. We consider a system consisting of the equation of motion, the equation for the turbulence energy, the expression relating the turbulence coefficient with the turbulence scale, and the integral formula for determining the turbulence scale. A numerical solution is presented for this closed system of equations for turbulent flow. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data.
