L'evolution de la chetotaxie est suivie au cours du developpement post-larvaire chezDactylogyrus extensus Mueller et Van Cleave, 1932 (Dactylogyridae) et chezActinocleidus recurvatus Mizelle Donahue, 1944 (Ancyrocephalidae). Elle est caracterisee par la disparition rapide de sensilles dorsales des la fixation de l'oncomiracidium sur l'hote, puis par l'apparition de nouvelles terminaisons sensorielles sur le corps. La disparition des sensilles du groupe dorsal, deja observee chez les Polyopisthocotylea, peut etre consideree comme un phenomene general chez les Monogenes.
