1. The anodic oxidation of olefins in the presence of fluorine anion can be accompanied by the addition of two fluorine atoms to the multiple bond. Allylic substitution is a more characteristic reaction in the anodic oxidation of olefins. 2. The high lability of the allylic and benzylic fluorine atoms in acid medium is the reason for the formation of acetamides during the anodic oxidation of olefins in a solution of tetraethylammonium fluoride hydrofluoride in acetonitrile.
