Abstract

1. It was assumed that in the vinyl alkyl Sulfides the electron transition with νmax ≈ 41,000 cm−1 must be assigned to the π-π* type. 2. In the vinyl alkyl sulfides the UV absorption in the regionν > 43,000 cm−1 is probably caused by the σ-σ* transitions.
