1. The hydrolytic stability of polyboroorganosiloxanes of various chemical compositions and structures was studied, and it was shown that it depends upon the distribution of boron in the chain and the organic surroundings of the silicon atom. 2. Polyborosiloxanes containing electron-donor groups in the surroundings possess high hydrolytic stability and can be used to produce thermostable plastics.
