Abstract

1. Compounds of selenourea (Seu) having the composition: Co(NO3)2·4Seu, Ni(NO3)2·4Seu, Ni(NO3)2·4Seu·4C3H6O, were synthesized and isolated in the pure state. 2. By comparing the IR spectra of the free selenourea and the obtained complexes of Co(II) and Ni(II) it was shown that the Seu is coordinated through the selenium atom.
