Experimental attempts to confirm the applicability of time-temperature superposition as a means of predicting the deformation of polymeric materials are reviewed. Examples of the use of the method for the accelerated testing of amorphous and crystalline thermoplastics, thermosets, and composites are presented. The review is confined to the class of thermorheologically simple bodies and isothermal deformation regimes.
