Abstract

1. A polyazine of the following structural formula [=CH-CH=N-N=]x has been obtained by the condensation of hydrazine with glyoxal. 2. The polyazine possesses semiconducting properties. Its electrical conductivity changes by an exponential law. 3. The polyazine investigated has been found to have photoconductivity. Its kinetics and temperature dependence have been studied.
