1. The above technique for determining the total probability serves to establish by means of simple calculations the metrological condition of the working equipment stocks of a given type. The calculations are made on the basis of information available to metrological agencies. 2. The suggested approach to the valuation of the measuring equipment stocks' metrological condition and the computation technique can be used in evaluating the metrological properties both of individual instrument types and the entire stock as a whole, thus serving to establish rational metrological characteristics and nomenclature for the measuring instruments' stocks.
