1. Methods have been developed for measuring the temperature and velocity of the gas stream in detonation spraying. 2. The time dependence of these parameters has been determined for the process of detonation spraying with an acetylene-oxygen mixture. 3. Analysis of the relations obtained shows that the dynamics of particles of the material being sprayed is controlled mainly by the gas flowing out of the barrel after the end of detonation.
