Considerable emphasis is currently being given to finding more reliable and quicker methods and equipment for nondestructive and statistical quality control in attempts to solve the problem of improving product quality. Modern methods of nondestructive inspection make it possible to detect surface and internal defects and decarbonization, as well as to study the structure and physicochemical properties of the material.
