One of the methods used in engineering practice for removing residual welding stresses in the elements of thin-walled structures is low-temperature treatment, which provides a reduction in the level of residual stresses as a result of creating additional thermoplastic deformations. A method of determining the optimum methods of low-temperature treatment of thin welded plates has been presented in [i].
