1. The inhomogeneity of the β-solid solution in Al-Si alloys is related to nonuniform distribution of aluminum and oxygen in the volume of the crystals. 2. Alloying with sodium and strontium leads to redistribution of aluminum and oxygen in the crystals of the silicon-base β-solid solution. 3. The change in the forms of growth and micromorphology of the crystals of primary and eutectic silicon in the Al-Si alloys is related to the formation of an inhomogeneous β-solid solution.
