Abstract

A new complex of dimethyl sulfoxide nitrosoosmium [(DMSO)2H][OsNO(DMSO)Cl4] has been prepared by reacting H2[OsNOCl5] with DMSO in acetone. Its structure has been established by IR spectroscopy and X-ray structural analysis.
