1. Tempering at 400\dgC for 1 h of strain hardened blades of steel G13 increases their wear resistance, although the hardness decreases somewhat. The wear resistance of G13 blades hardened by this method is higher than that for blades of steel 9KhS and equal to that for blades of steel 9Kh5VF. 2. Tempering of quenched austenitic steel G13 also improves the wear resistance of blades, but to a lesser extent than in combination with strain hardening.
