Die perinatale Mortalit�t

Abstract

Den Untersuchungen uber Ursachen und Begleitfaktoren liegen 1382 perinatale Todesfalle der Geburtsjahrgange 1955–1966 unter insgesamt 23490 Geburten zugrunde. Die Daten wurden retrospektiv erfast und maschinell nach dem „Cross-Tab-Verfahren“ verarbeitet. Da die Untersuchungen in Anlehnung an das Personenstandsgesetz der Bundesrepublik Deutschland uber die Meldepflicht von Tot- und Lebendgeburten durchgefuhrt wurden, ergab sich mit 5,9% in den Jahren 1955–1960 und 4,8% in den Jahren 1961–1966 eine vergleichsweise hohe perinatale Mortalitat. Blieben die in internationalen Statistiken (WHO) uber die perinatale Sterblichkeit im allgemeinen vernachlassigten extrem unreifen Feten mit Geburtsgewichten von 500–1050 g unberucksichtigt, betrug die Mortalitat des Gesamtzeitraums 3,8% und nahm in den Jahren 1955–1966 von 5,7 auf 2,8% ab. Antepartuale Todesfalle machten 40,6% der Gesamtsterblichkeit aus, subpartuale 9,2% und postpartuale 52,5%, letztere kamen in 80% der Falle in Zusammenhang mit unreifen Neugeborenen vor.
