1. Vacuum boriding of steel Kh18N10T in amorphous boron powder at 900–1000° leads to formation of a diffusion zone on the surface that consists of borides of the (Fe, Cr, Ni)2B and (Fe, Cr, Ni)B types, and austenite and ferrite. 2. With vacuum boriding of steel Kh18N10T at 900–1000° in powdered amorphous boron the boron diffuses preferentially into austenite grain boundaries. The formation of borides in the inner layer of the diffusion zone is accompanied by improverishment of the adjoining austenite in alloying elements and transformation of austenite to ferrite.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
