1. Thermomechanical treatment increases the working life of chisels by 20–30% in cutting quenched steel. 2. The optimum deformation temperature of the head of the chisel is 500° C. Cooling below 500°C decreases the ductility of the metal and leads to the formation of cracks during deformation. 3. The effect of thermomechanical treatment consists in the change of the fine structure of the steel and in the type and distribution of dislocations.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 2 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
