L'etude comparative au cours de differents travaux anterieurs de la morphologie saprophytique et parasitaire in vitro et in vivo de vingt deux souches d'Emmonsia nous fait penser que ce genre est bien synonyme du genreChrysosporium et de l'especeC. parvum. Elle nous permet surtout de conclure que l'on peut differencier deux ou trois varietes selon que l'on privilegie le comportement parasitaire in vitro ou in vivo.
