Abstract

Highly anaplastic renal tumors (nephroblastoma type) have been induced regularly in rats fed dimethylnitrosamine. In the course of carcinogenesis, proliferative lesions — renal oval cell proliferation — have been commonly observed in the contralateral kidney.
