Abstract

Curriculum vitae. Tage Hjort, born 1928, graduated in 1954J?om the University of Copenhagen. After clinical training he became research associate at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, University of Aarhus in 1959. D7 1964-1965 Helen Hay Whitney research fellow, Department of Bacteriology and Immunology, State University of New York at Buffalo. Since 1965 associate professor in immunology at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, University of Aarhus. The main topic o f research has been autoimmunity, now for several years concentrated on autoand isoimmunity to sperm. Since 1975 in charge of the WHO Reference BankJbr Reproductive Immunology. Thesis: University o f Aarhus 1963 on autoimmunity in thyroid diseases.
