A 3-year-old mildly retarded girl had frontonasal dysplasia. Computerized tomography showed brain changes compatible with a diagnosis of mild (pseudohemispheric) prosencephaly. The clinical features of frontonasal dysplasia may be an expression of (holo-)prosencephaly.
