The cyclic 3′5′ guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) content of tissues of the rabbit eye was studied. Very high levels of the cyclic nucleotide were detected in the retina and rather high ones in the choroid and vitreous body, while the levels found in the iris, lens, and aqueous humor were many times lower.
