Die Pericardialdrüse von Sepia officinalis

Abstract

Bei Sepia officinalis last sich die Pericardialdruse beiderseitig entfernen. Die Tiere machen zunachst einen vollig normalen Eindruck, gehen aber langstens in viermal 24 Stunden zugrunde. Exstirpiert man nur ein Organ und bindet das andere nur ab, so wird die Lebensdauer etwas verlangert. Ebenso ist die Einspritzung von Extrakten der Pericardialdruse den Tieren offenbar nutzlich.
