Abstract

Die Rolle der viralen Infektionen bei idiopathischer Facialisparese wird in der letzten Zeit immer wichtiger. Wir geben die Beschreibung eines Falles von peripheraler Facialisparese nach Varicellen. Es handelte sich um ein 17jahriges Madchen, das 17 Tage nach Varicellen eine linke Facialisparese mit Geschmacksstorung hatte und sich innerhalb eines Monates erholte. Dieser Fall ist vielleicht der erste Fall einer isolierten Facialisparese mit Varicellen. Es wurden einige ahnliche Falle in der Literatur und ihre Beziehung zum Hunt-Syndrom diskutiert.
