Abstract

Bei 6000 Hysterektomien beobachteten wir neun adenomatoide Tumoren im Myometrium. Makroskopisch imponierten sie als runde oder ovale Knoten von grauer bis grauweiser Farbe von etwa Haselnusgrose. Mikroskopisch werden vier Typen unterschieden: Solider, angiomatoider, makrotubularer und gemischter Wachstumstyp; das Cytoplasma der Zellen neigt zur Vacuolisierung, die Hohlraume werden als Folge der Confluens der Vacuolen gedeutet. Das Interstitium enthalt die gleichen Zellen und oft auch Lymphocyten. Wegen ihrer bescheidenen Dimension bleiben sie wahrscheinlich haufig unbemerkt oder werden wegen ihrer makroskopischen Ahnlichkeit mit Leiomyomen nicht histologisch untersucht.
