Abstract

1. Der Q10 des Sauerstoffverbrauches von Arianta arbustorum verandert sich in Abhangigkeit vom Aktivitatszustand der Tiere und von der Jahreszeit. Nach kunstlicher Aktivierung aus dem Winterschlaf und im Fruhjahr liegt der Q 10 20–30° um 1,0, was auf Unterdruckung der Aktivitat bei 30° C zuruckzufuhren ist. Erst im Sommer nimmt der mittlere QO2 bei 30° zu, so das „normale“ Q10-Werte um 1,8 erreicht werden. 2. Die Tiere der Hochlandpopulation sind im Fruhjahr und Sommer bei 20° C stets deutlich aktiver als die Tieflandtiere, bei 10 und 30° jedoch nicht. Der Q 10 10–20° verhalt sich dementsprechend bei den beiden Populationen wie 2,7∶1,9, der Q 10 20–30° wie 1,3∶1,8. 3. Akklimatisation an verschiedene Haltungstemperaturen konnte weder bei der Gesamtnoch bei- der Gewebeatmung nachgewiesen werden. 4. Die Temperaturbeziehungen der Atmung von Fus- und Hepatopankreasgewebe zeigen keine systematischen Veranderungen mit der Jahreszeit oder mit anderen okologischen Faktoren. Der Q10 liegt zwischen 1,6 und 2,1. Der QO2 des Fusgewebes betragt hingegen bei allen Versuchstemperaturen ab Mitte Oktober bis zum Fruhjahr nur 50–60% der Sommerwerte. 5. Die Succinoxydase-Aktivitat des Hepatopancreas fallt im Oktober ebenfalls auf 40–70% der Sommerwerte. 6. Selbst im Winter unterkuhlte Tiere sind im Labor sehr schnell zu aktivieren. Ihr Hepatopancreas hat zunachst eine ebenso hohe Stoffwechselrate wie das normal aktiver Tiere im Sommer. Nach 4–7tagiger Aktivierung der Tiere bei 30° C ist der QO2 des Hepatopankreasgewebes jedoch signifikant hoher als zu jeder anderen Jahreszeit, obwohl die Ganztieratmung bei 30° zu dieser Zeit noch unterdruckt ist. 7. Aus den experimentellen Befunden wurden folgende Schlusse gezogen:
